Impact Leadership GCS

Impact Leadership GCS provides high quality preparation leading to South Carolina certification as a principal. It is made up of partner-selected, tuition-assisted cohorts and features collaboratively developed content and field experiences. Instructors include GCS leadership.

Program Overview: A high-quality pre-service preparation pathway leading to South Carolina principal certification, conducted in partnership with Clemson and Furman Universities.

Eligibility Requirements: Targeted at high-potential educators identified through a partner-selected cohort model.

Purpose: To provide aspiring principals with an advanced degree and certification that is deeply grounded in the GCS context and national leadership standards.

How Will I Learn?  A two-year, tuition-assisted program leading to a Master’s or Education Specialist degree. Courses are collaboratively developed and taught by university faculty and GCS district leaders, featuring field experiences within GCS schools.

Outcomes: Graduates earn their administrative license and commit to serving Greenville County Schools for at least three years following graduation.
