WIN testing is scheduled to take place from October 19th through November 13th for eligible high school students not able to test last spring due to the statewide school closure. The testing window is tentative and may change based on adjustments to the district's in-person attendance plan. Any changes to the testing schedule will be announced and communicated to parents at least one week before the WIN test is scheduled to be administered. WIN testing will be administered to eligible students on October 20th and 21st.
Our Group Homes & RTF staff members have embarked on a multi-year Trauma-Skilled Schools certification. This rigorous program was developed by the National Dropout Prevention Center. The training is designed to raise awareness among staff on how to more effectively work with students impacted by trauma and adverse life events. By modifying instructional practices and structuring the school climate it is possible to boost achievement and improve graduation rates for at-risk youth.
