Executive Leader Institute

Executive Leader Institute furthers the skills and perspective of current and aspiring district leaders. The focuses include interpersonal leadership and building trust, communication, behavior and decision making, coaching-based supervision and development, strategic leadership and change management and collaboration and innovation.

Program Overview: An advanced institute designed to deepen the perspective and skills of current and aspiring district leaders to strategically serve school needs.

Eligibility Requirements: Newly hired district staff, currently serving department managers, or principals aspiring to district-level roles. Candidates are selected through a "fishbowl" group interview and an assessment of desired leadership attributes.

Purpose: To advance the skills of district leaders in optimizing practices that support principals, ensuring academic excellence and student well-being are prioritized across the system.

How Will I Learn? 72 hours of development across 8-10 sessions. Highlights include collaborative leadership, interpersonal trust, coaching-based supervision, and strategic change management.

Outcomes: Participants gain an expanded system-wide perspective and are paired with an executive mentor to ensure operational and instructional alignment across the district.
