GCS Player of the Week - November 26
This weeks installment of the “GCS Player of the Week” takes us to the South Carolina North-South All-Star Volleyball game, which was held on Saturday, November 21st. The best senior volleyball players from across the state gathered for this all-star showcase. Greenville County Schools was well represented by Megan Jones and Cameron Meadows of Eastside and Maddie Watts of Hillcrest.
Maddie Watts joined the Hillcrest Rams varsity volleyball team as an 8th grader. In her five years, she has played in four state championships and brought home three state titles!
Megan Jones and Cameron Meadows helped lead the Eastside Eagles to back to back Upper State matches, winning the 2015 Upper State title over Pickens. The Eagles finished as Class AAA State Runners-Up in 2015.
Congratulations to Maddie, Megan and Cameron for representing Greenville County Schools on the 2015 South Carolina North-South All-Star Volleyball team!
