Fine Arts Center Visitation Days Set for November 21-22

The Fine Arts Center will hold an Open House for parents of prospective students at the Fine Arts Center on the evening of Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. All interested parents are invited to visit the school, see the state-of-the-art studios, and tour the building and its million-dollar art collection. The faculty and administration will have information about Fine Arts Center programs and will be available to answer questions that parents may have about the program, including the application and audition process. We encourage parents of students who have an interest in studying the arts to come that evening to learn about the comprehensive art programs that South Carolina’s first secondary school for gifted arts students has to offer their student. The Fine Arts Center is located at 102 Pine Knoll Drive, next to Wade Hampton High School.

The Fine Arts Center will hold its annual middle school visitation day on Thursday, November 21, 2013. All interested eighth grade students may visit in the morning from 9:15 – 11:05 a.m. Visiting students are asked to complete the Prearranged Absence Form, having it signed by all teachers whose classes they will miss. The completed form serves as their “ticket” to the Visitation Day. Students from across Greenville County with an interested in studying the arts are encouraged to spend the morning at the Center looking at the programs and meeting the faculty and students.
