Becky Greene Earns Patriot Award
Blue Ridge Middle Principal Becky Greene was surprised at a faculty meeting when she was presented with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award. Mrs. Greene was nominated for the award by Mr. Bradley Christy, 6th grade science teacher. Mr. Christy is currently a Captain with the 319th Engineer Battalion Headquarters of the U.S. Army Reserve at Donaldson Center. The Office of the Secretary of Defense recognized Mrs. Greene as a Patriotic Employer for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.
