Bell’s Crossing Students Earn Art Awards
Five students from Bell’s Crossing Elementary School have been named winners in the South Carolina Education Association’s “From the Mountains to the Sea, Read with Me” art contest.
Danielle M. earned 1st Place in Division 1 (Grades K-2) and Silas B. earned 1st Place in Division 2 (Grades 3-5). Ansley H. Tyler S earned Honorable Mention, and Carter B earned recognition as a participant.
Students were asked to create art that depicted an original interpretation of reading across South Carolina, with special consideration given to artwork that reflected the events of 2020.
