Two School Board Members Recognized for Service

Two GCS School Board members earned recognition by the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) for their years of school board service.

Board Chair Lynda Leventis-Wells received recognition for 15 years of service, while Debi Bush was recognized for 25 years of service.

Veteran board members provide vision and valuable leadership for school districts. SCSBA and our local board are honoring these board members for their long-term dedication to improving student achievement.

SCSBA is a non-profit organization organization serving as a source of information and a statewide voice for boards governing 79 school districts.
