Anna Chappell (School Counselor, Bonds Career Center), Jackson Wells (Wade Hampton High/Bonds Mechatronics), Mark Spencer (Bonds Mechatronics Instructor), Aiden Mondeau (Greer High/Bonds Mechatronics), and Mike Parris (Bonds Director)J. Harley Bonds Career Center Mechatronics students Aiden Mondeau from Greer High School, and Jackson Wells from Wade Hampton High, have been named Michelin Scholars. They were officially presented with their offer letter at the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration on February 16 at the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center.  Bonds Career Center is honored to be involved with the GreerMade program, which has opened the door to partnerships that benefit students. 

Mark Owens (President, Greer Chamber of Commerce), Aiden Mondeau (Greer High/Bonds Mechatronics),  Jackson Wells (Wade Hampton High/Bonds Mechatronics), and Jeff Cima (Michelin)Michelin North America offers opportunities for select students to develop hands-on work experience while earning their degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or Electronics Engineering Technology (EET). Michelin Technical Scholars receive scholarships to cover the cost of tuition, fees and books for the program along with competitive pay for part-time work in a Michelin manufacturing facility. The Scholars get a customized work schedule to accommodate classes and become eligible for employment at Michelin as a Reliability Technician, with competitive salary and opportunity for salary increases with experience.
