Volunteers Needed for Health Advisory Committee
Greenville County Schools has vacancies for individuals to serve on the Comprehensive Coordinated School Health Advisory Committee (CSHAC) for a three-year term beginning in April 2017.
The vacancies are for two parents, two students, six school representatives, and four members of the community at large who are not employed by the school district.
The Coordinated School Health Advisory Committee will assess, plan, implement, and monitor district and school health policies and programs. The CSHAC will also help develop a school health improvement plan that addresses strategies for improving student nutrition, health, and physical activity.
Vacancies are filled by the Greenville County School Board of Trustees. Any citizen living in the areas served by Greenville County Schools and meets the eligibility requirements can serve on the committee.
