GCS Player of the Week - December 15, 2016
This weeks GCS “Players of the Week” features our 2016 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas Football All-Stars:
Noah Hannon, Greer High Football – Noah is a 4-year starter at Greer, beginning as a center before becoming one of the best offensive tackles in the state. In addition to his Shrine Bowl selection, Noah was one of five finalists for the 2016 South Carolina Mr. Football Award. Noah will continue his playing career at Appalachian State.
Davonne Bowen, Woodmont High Football – Prior to the season Davonne committed to the University of South Carolina. Davonne has played defensive end and outside linebacker for the Wildcats, where he uses his combination of size and speed to create havoc on opposing offenses.

The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas pits the best seniors from South Carolina versus the best from North Carolina. The game will be held at Wofford College on December 17th. As part of the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas festivities, cross country runners from across the state will participate in the Shrine Bowl Game Ball Run. The run will start at the Shriners Hospital in Greenville. Here are the GCS runners participating:
