Officer Jacobs Remembered for His Positive Influence
We join with our community in mourning the tragic and senseless loss of Officer Allen Jacobs and extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Officer Jacobs and the Greenville City Police Department. Officer Jacobs was well known to many of our students, faculty and staff. He instructed students in the schools within the City of Greenville about the dangers of gang involvement, mentored young people, and in his off-duty time continued his service to our schools as a zone patrol officer. Officer Jacobs made a difference and his positive impact will continue through the lives of those he influenced through his service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jacobs family, the Greenville Police and our community.
