Students may apply for a $2,000 Sirrine Scholarship by visiting Sirrine Scholarship Application website to submit a new or renewal application. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 15, 2016.

Sirrine Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of four years of undergraduate study at a two- or four-year institution. Sirrine Scholarships are renewable for a maximum of three years, provided the student maintains satisfactory progress toward the completion of his or her program of studies and is recommended for renewal by the institution he or she attends. The criteria for receiving the Sirrine Scholarship is based on a calculation performed with a weighted percentage for the EFC# (Estimated Family Contribution) printed on the Student Aid Report (SAR), a weighted percentage for class rank, and a weighted percentage for test scores (ACT/SAT).

Online applications are encouraged. If sending by mail, the application and a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) must be postmarked by the deadline of Friday, April 15.  Click here for complete information.

The J. E. Sirrine Scholarship Program was established through the generosity of the late Joseph Emory Sirrine. Mr. Sirrine left the bulk of his estate as a perpetual memorial to his father and mother to be used to assist deserving graduates of Greenville County public high schools or Greenville County charter high schools.
