HR Leadership Training Certificates Awarded to Operations Managers and Supervisors
Congratulations to our Operations managers and supervisors who recently completed the Human Resources Leadership Training Program. Certificates of completion were awarded to 201 participants after the final training classes were conducted in April.
The program began last year, when all operations supervisors and managers were invited to attend a series of six different leadership classes with an emphasis on developing and improving people skills. Participants represented the operational areas of Food and Nutritional Services, Building Services, Transportation Services, Maintenance, and Warehouse Services. The class topics were Time Management, Interpersonal Communications, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Situational Leadership, Handling Conflict, and Peer Coaching.
The focus of the training was to continue to improve the communication skills of leaders in each work group. Participants tracked their attendance and were very excited to receive the certificate of completion. The classes were presented by Mr. Mike Humbert, Manager of Personnel Operations and Mr. Marque Kilpatrick, Employee Relations Representative.
