Greenville County Schools is proud to host the annual ACE Awards (Advocates for Character and Education), a district-wide celebration honoring students who exemplify integrity, resilience, leadership, and a true commitment to learning.

Each year, the ACE Awards shines a spotlight on our District’s “Unsung Heroes”—students who quietly make a powerful impact on their schools and communities through their actions and character. Founded by Greg Blatt and Coaches4Character, the program also recognizes the dedicated Mentors who walk alongside these students and help shape their journeys.

Two 8th-grade and two 12th-grade students from every middle and high school are selected each spring to receive this distinguished recognition. These honorees represent the very best of Greenville County Schools: they serve others selflessly, overcome challenges with determination, and model the values we strive to instill in all learners.

This meaningful celebration is hosted by the Greenville County Schools Foundation and made possible entirely through the generosity of community sponsors.
