Welcome Elementary Building

GCS Advantage

Welcome Elementary’s advantage is the way we intentionally connect leadership, relationships, and academic success for every student. As a Leader in Me school, students develop the 7 Habits, set academic goals, take on leadership roles, and learn that their choices and actions can positively impact their school community. Strong family engagement is also at the heart of Welcome, with families actively participating in school events, School Improvement Council, conferences, and opportunities that strengthen the home-school partnership. Our students benefit from a strong network of academic, multilingual, special education, counseling, behavioral, mental health, and community-based supports designed to meet the needs of the whole child. Together, these experiences bring our vision to life as Wolves who Learn, Lead, Grow, and Succeed.

Years Proudly Serving the Community

“As a parent of children that have and currently attend Welcome Elementary, I appreicate and love the environment at the school. The teachers, staff, and administration go above and beyond their job duties, as well as put the importance of the children's education first. I enjoy being able to send my children to a school where learning is key.”

“This is my child's fourth year at Welcome, and moving him here was the best decision. Our time here at Welcome has been nothing short of amazing. I absolutely love the staff; they are great from top to bottom. I could not imagine my son attending another school.”
