Why Tigerville Elementary
Tigerville Elementary is a high-performing school where every student is known, families are valued and community pride runs deep. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Tigerville combines the academic opportunities of Greenville County Schools with the close-knit spirit of a small community. With approximately 270 students, Tigerville is smaller than many Greenville County elementary schools. This allows us to build strong relationships with students and families and creates a school environment where children are known by name and supported as individuals. Tigerville is a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School, 2025 South Carolina Blue Ribbon School and has earned an Excellent South Carolina School Report Card rating. The school is consistently recognized among Greenville County’s highest performing elementary schools, including recognition for strong achievement in ELA, math and science.
