At Skyland Elementary School, we are "A Place Where Children Flourish" - a school where strong relationships, high expectations, and a love of learning come together to help every child thrive. We challenge our students with high academic rigor and engaging instruction, resulting in strong state testing performance while ensuring that learning remains meaningful, hands-on, and fun. As a proud part of Ridge Nation, we create intentional connections with Mountain View Elementary, Tigerville Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle School, and Blue Ridge High School, helping our students feel connected to something bigger than themselves from an early age. We also believe every child should have the opportunity to discover their unique passions and talents through experiences like Robotics, Run Hard Club, Skyland Express Mail Carriers, Art Club, Skyland Singers, SETV, Writing Club, Book Club, Bulldog Ambassadors, Student Council, and Beta Club. From memorable classroom experiences to opportunities beyond the classroom, we work to make learning exciting and give every child a chance to shine. At Skyland, we believe in the potential of every student and know that The Sky is the Limit!
