Greenview Child Development Center is a nurturing, joyful learning environment where young children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. Our dedicated staff understands that early childhood is about more than preparing children academically—it is about building confidence, relationships, independence, communication, and a love of learning. As the home of the Greenview Pups, we take pride in creating a welcoming school community where children and families feel connected and supported. Our focus on developmentally appropriate learning, strong instructional practices, and meeting the unique needs of every child makes Greenview a wonderful place for children to begin their educational journey.

Families are welcome to tour Greenview Child Development Center any school day between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please call the school office to schedule an appointment.
Child Development Centers do not receive State Report Cards.
Greenview CDC is one of five Child Development Centers in Greenville County Schools where we provide high-quality 4K and Preschool Special Education programs, in addition to a variety of activities to involve and educate families. We are the first stop for many children on their way to becoming high school graduates with Greenville County Schools. Our mission, “Laying the Foundation for Future Success”, emphasizes our commitment to ensuring our children receive quality early childhood experiences that develop pre-literacy, pre-math and school readiness skills needed for future academic achievement.
- Full-Day 4K: High-quality, full-day 4K instruction from 7:45 a.m.–2:15 p.m., providing intentional, play-based learning in early literacy, math, and social-emotional development.
- Building Strong Readers: Students make meaningful growth in foundational literacy skills, including letter recognition, early writing, language development, and a love of books and learning. Our intentional early literacy instruction helps lay the foundation for future reading success.
- Specialized Support: Students who may need additional support are assessed to determine eligibility for preschool special education services. Students who qualify receive individualized services designed to meet their unique developmental and learning needs.
- Greenview serves families throughout the Greenville area, with transportation eligibility connected to area homebased schools.
