Berea combines Love, Support and Accountability with expanding academic and career opportunities. Scholars can access GT/Honors coursework at every grade level, AVID classes and college-going experiences, along with hands-on career exploration through the school’s developing College & Career Supercenter. From health professions and career education to real-world simulations, students begin connecting what they learn today with what they may want to pursue tomorrow.

Berea is developing a College & Career Supercenter that gives middle school scholars opportunities to begin exploring their futures now. Paxton/Patterson modules, Career Education, Introduction to Health Professions and other hands-on experiences connect classroom learning with real careers.
AVID Elective courses and schoolwide AVID strategies strengthen reading, writing, inquiry, collaboration and organization skills, while college visits and career-focused field trips help scholars see possibilities beyond middle school.
Berea also offers GT/Honors coursework at every grade level, an outdoor classroom and a growing range of academic and enrichment supports.
