GCS Celebrates 2023-24 LEAD Cohort
Greenville County Schools is proud to celebrate the 2023-24 LEAD cohort. The LEAD Institute is designed for educators who want to develop the knowledge and skills to support teachers and schools in improving student achievement. LEAD is a year-long, project-based course that builds instructional leadership skills – establishing a student-centered culture, leading effective professional learning communities, conducting coaching cycles with targeted feedback and using data to support improved instruction and student achievement. These collaborative leaders engaged in authentic experiences involving analysis of current realities, self-reflection, observing and coaching, planning professional learning and implementing the priority practices of an instructional leadership team.
