Columbia , SC - The public is invited to review textbooks and instructional materials that have been proposed for use in South Carolina’s public schools. The materials will be on display from October 21 through November 21.

The instructional materials are on display at 20 locations throughout the state. The materials will be on display from October 21 through November 21, 2016, with instructions for submitting comments available at each site. In addition to the display sites, digital access will be available for the recommended programs.  On October 21st, the publisher-provided links will be posted at the 2016 Instructional Materials Public Review Page. The State Board of Education will receive public comments before a final decision is made on adopting the instructional materials.

The materials will be recommended to the State Board of Education for adoption on December 13, 2016, by the Instructional Materials Review Panels appointed by the Board.  The materials are in the following subject areas:
