We have a special edition of the Greenville County Schools Player of the Week to celebrate our basketball all-stars!

Asiah Jones, Woodmont Wildcats Basketball.  Asiah has been named to the 2016 North Carolina vs South Carolina All-Star team.  This past season Asiah was among her teams leaders in scoring and rebounding and was one of the best in the state at blocking shots.

Brooke Jordan-Brown, Riverside Warriors Basketball – Brooke has been named to the 2016 North Carolina vs South Carolina All-Star team.  Brooke has been a starter on the Lady Warriors team since the 8th grade and as a senior she led the team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.

Preston Parks, Wade Hampton Generals Basketball.  Preston has been named to the 2016 North Carolina vs South Carolina All-Star team.  Preston has been a 3-year captain and this season set school records for career scoring, career, 3-pointers made, single game scoring and 3-pointers in a game.

  • Christy Beaman, Hillcrest Lacrosse – Led team in scoring in 2 wins last week

  • Arianna Milicia, JL Mann Soccer – 4 goals and 6 assists in pre-season tournament
