The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Math and Greenville County Schools will host iTEAMS Xtreme, a day camp for rising seventh and eighth graders, June 15-18, 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, at Hughes Middle Academy. Hughes Academy is located at 122 DeOyley Avenue, Greenville.

Get ready for a super-charged “Xperience” with computer science, technology, and entrepreneurship. Students will engage in Xtreme experiences including creating mobile apps, interactive objects, and 3D models.

iTEAMS Xtreme is seeking dynamic teachers and students to participate.

  • Teachers with a computer science or engineering background; experience with Scratch, Open SCAD, App Inventor, and/or 3D printing preferred.   • Rising seventh and eighth graders in Greenville County can apply online at Early bird registration ends April 13; application deadline is May 18.
  • Cost is $185 per student; early bird registration is $165. This includes instructional materials, daily snacks, and a pizza party on the final day of the camp. Scholarships are available. Student Flyer
