Mauldin High Band Earns 2 First Place Honors
The Mauldin High School Marching Maverick Band recently traveled to San Antonio, Texas to perform during half-time of the Valero Alamo Bowl. During their stay they competed in a field show competition, earning First Place and Outstanding Music, Marching, Effect, Color Guard, Drum Major, and Percussion Awards as well as competing in a parade competition, also earning First Place and Outstanding Music, Marching, Effect, and Drum Major Awards. Another highlight was an Alamo Bowl pep rally performance for the fans on the Riverwalk. Congratulations to the Mauldin High School Marching Maverick Band!
