Four Greenville County Schools have been recognized for their exemplary efforts to maintain safe work environments and support their employees’ safe work practices. They are Blythe Elementary Academy, Welcome Elementary, Ralph Chandler Middle, and Berea High.

The schools were evaluated on defined safety protocols for students, staff and visitors; employee accident prevention; active participation in safety training; and custodial and food service inspections.

Each school received a banner and a check for $500. Funding for the awards program was provided by PMA Companies, WorkWell Occupational Health (Bon Secours St. Francis Health System), Carolina Case Management, Horton, Drawdy, Ward, Mullinax, and Farry P.A., Wilson, Jones, Carter, & Baxley, P.A., Southern Rehabilitation, and Access on Time.
