Bryson Middle School Chorus Performs at Carnegie Hall
The Bryson Middle School chorus, under the direction of choral director Holly Hill, was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. After auditions and much practice learning selections in several languages, these singers headed to New York for more intense rehearsals and the opportunity to work with Composer/Conductor Cristian Grases. Participants were Emma Amrien, Aleea Brunner, Christen Crawford, Maryann Klaiber, Caroline McNaughton, Cammie Mitros, Haegen Nelson, Cierra Oliveira, Katherine Rivera, Chasity Smith, Becca Tewell, and Anna Waters. Additionally, one of our Bryson students, Haegen Nelson, was selected as a soloist among 275 voices. These students, representing South Carolina, were part of the Distinguished Concerts Singers International which includes the countries of Norway and Australia.
