Best Singer in the State
Shane Li of Wade Hampton High School won the second place cash prize of $200 in the second annual Best Singer in the State competition with her performance of "Brokenhearted." She accompanied herself on the guitar. The judges complimented her performance and commended her on knowing who she was as a performer. Twelve district and regional winners from around the state competed for top honors.
