Career Center Students Win Awards at SkillsUSA State Competition
This year’s South Carolina SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference, held in Greenville, was a huge success! Greenville County Schools’ four career centers had 167 students and advisors attend the conference to participate in various competitive events demonstrating the technical and leadership skills sought after in today’s global economy.
Braylon Miller, a student at J. Harley Bonds Career Center, has been elected Vice President of the South Carolina Chapter of SkillsUSA.
Students winning first place in a competition will go on to represent South Carolina in Kansas City, June 23-27, at the 50th Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference.
