The South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) tests will be administered to students in Greenville County Schools from Tuesday, May 6 through Friday, May 9. Students will be tested in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and/or Social Studies. Students in grades 3 through 8 are required to participate in testing except those who qualify for the South Carolina Alternative Assessment (SC-ALT).

SCPASS is designed to assess higher levels of learning as well as basic skills. Students are asked questions that test their knowledge and skills in a variety of ways.
