Sara Collins Teacher Recognized by Furman University
Sara Collins Elementary fifth grade teacher Caroline Lambert has been awarded the Alfred and Marybeth Bunting Childers Foundation Teaching Excellence Award from Furman University. The Education Department at Furman University will host a ceremony and reception this month to congratulate Ms. Lambert as a highly effective and inspiring elementary teacher.
Ms. Lambert graduated from Furman University in May, 2013. She has an amazing balance of confidence and kindheartedness and has established a great rapport with her students. She exemplifies outstanding classroom management skills, professionalism, and differentiation of instruction to meet the various needs of her students.
Prior to entering the teaching profession, Ms. Lambert served as a member of the Kappa delta Pi Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. She was on the Varsity Cheerleading Team at Furman where she served as Captain her senior year. Ms. Lambert graduated from A.C. Flora High School in Columbia as valedictorian in 2009.
