Principal Rita Mantooth Earns Patriotic Employer AwardRalph Chandler Middle School Principal Rita Mantooth was recently presented the Patriotic Employer Award from the South Carolina Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.

Mrs. Mantooth was nominated for the award by Erin Tindle, a former math teacher at Ralph Chandler Middle School. She nominated Mrs. Mantooth because of the support and care she received while her husband, Jeremy Tindle, was deployed to Kosovo with the South Carolina Army National Guard. “Mrs. Mantooth was especially supportive when I traveled to meet my husband while he was on leave. I did not have to worry about my students or my classroom, and the entire faculty was there every step of the way for me,” said Mrs. Tindle.

The Patriotic Employer Award is presented for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.

Jeremy and Erin Tindle moved out of state following his tour in Kosovo.
