About 600 elementary and middle school students from Greenville County Schools will join their voices in song at the 33rd annual Spring Sing concert on Tuesday, March 26, 7:30 p.m., at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts.

Fork Shoals School music teacher Lorraine Paxton is the Elementary School Lead Teacher, and  Mauldin Middle School music teacher Vanessa Rhodes serves as the Middle School Lead Teacher.

Spring Sing offers elementary and middle school students from across Greenville County the opportunity to perform quality choral music in a state-of-the-art facility. This event provides students with a meaningful performance experience and helps underscore the value of the performing arts in the community.   Studies have shown that students who participate in music and other fine and performing arts activities tend to perform better than their peers academically, to stay in school, and to graduate on time.

Spring Sing is presented by the Rotary Club of Pleasantburg and Greenville County Schools.  Tickets are $13.00 and they may be purchased at the Peace Center Box Office.
