Riverside Middle School ushered in Music in Our Schools Month during the morning announcements last Friday with the National Anthem played by a guitar quartet--Eric Kane, Fulton Garner, James Bright, and Dylan Faulk . Other "Mighty Royal" activities celebrating Music in Our Schools Month include a daily trivia contest, a school-wide display encouraging all students to write about how music has affect their lives, and the annual non-auditioned Entertainment Cafe presentations "open mic" for instrumentalists, singers and dancers during the grade level lunch shifts. The Entertainment Cafe schedule is as follows: Grade 6 Friday, March 8, Grade 7 Friday, March 15, and Grade 8 Thursday, March 21. On Friday, March 29, faculty and staff will perform during their lunch shift for students.
