Many students “went to the polls” last week to participate in Mock Elections. At Fork Shoals School, 3
rd through 5th grade students had the chance to vote for the next President of the United States. They brought in their voter registration cards, checked in with poll workers, and cast their ballots in computerized polling stations. Poll workers were members of the school's Junior Beta Club. Each student received an "I voted" sticker afterward. Students at Sue Cleveland Elementary and other Greenville County schools also voted in Mock Elections on November 6.
