Subway Guy Visits Sterling School
Jared Fogle, the Subway Guy, visited Sterling School to kick off the Fresh Start Challenge program and talk to students about the importance of developing healthful habits. Jared was named the Subway spokesperson after losing 245 pounds by eating Subway sandwiches for almost a year.
The Subway Fresh Start Challenge is open to students ages 5 to 14. Students who track their food and activity choices will receive a coupon for a free meal or sandwich. Two student winners from submitted entries in the Upstate will be selected to receive a sub party for their class and a $1,000 fitness grant for their school.
