Food and Nutrition Services of Greenville County Schools has partnered with the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas at Greenville Technical College to train food service employees from eleven Greenville County elementary schools in healthy cooking techniques. 80 employees will be trained in basic culinary areas such as knife skills, vegetable cookery, and soup preparation to support new menus being implemented in the eleven participating schools. The training will be hosted by the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas at the Greenville Technical College Northwest Campus at 8109 White Horse Road.  The training will consist of two, one week sessions from 8:00 – 4:30 July 25 – July 29 and August 1 – August 5.
