Greenville County Schools needs members of the community to serve on the Sexuality Education Advisory Committee. The committee is responsible for assisting the district in the selection of components and curricula materials for the sexuality education program and Erin’s Law required under the South Carolina Comprehensive Health Education Act. The deadline for submitting letters of interest is August 1, 2019.

Vacancies are open for two parents with children enrolled in Greenville County Schools, two health professionals, two Greenville County School teachers, three clergy and two non-employees of the school district.

Committee members serve three-year terms. Vacancies are filled by the Greenville County Board of Trustees. Any citizen living in the area served by The School District of Greenville County who meets eligibility requirements may apply.
