UTC Draws 1,000+ Educators
Great day to learn! Teachers and administrators spend part of their summer break going back to school to earn technology credits, gain new skills, and get great ideas they will implement in their classrooms and schools. The annual Upstate Technology Conference provides opportunities to network, learn, grow, and share their passion for teaching and learning. UTC features great presentations by nationally acclaimed educators, Richard Byrne, an award-winning education blogger, and Dr. Monica Burns, an educational technology consultant offering her expertise to teachers across the Upstate. UTC is highly regarded across the state, bringing in more than 1,200 participants. About 300 courses are offered, and educators earn credit, exchange credits, and hours toward their certificate renewal.
