Teachers Awarded Art Trek Fellowship
Art Teachers Meredith Hamby (Woodmont Middle), Tammie Nimmons (Hillcrest Middle), and Judy Harrington (Fisher Middle) have been awarded an Art Trek Fellowship through the Fund For Teachers. As Art Trek Fellows they will share a $10,000 grant to travel through Europe for 16 days this summer to study Architecture and Engineering. The teachers will implement Engineering- and Architecture-based STEAM units collaboratively for their students and further involve the communities at each respective school.
