Elks Lodge Awards School Grants
The Elks Lodge #858 presented nearly $5,000 to five Greenville County schools who presented exciting plans to improve their music education programs. The schools are Alexander Elementary, AJ Whittenberg Elementary, Cherrydale Elementary, Lakeview Middle, and Robert E. Cashion Elementary. The Elks Lodge has been a partner with The Music Club of Greenville for four years, providing $15,000 to local school music programs. This year, The Music Club of Greenville awarded $17,000 to local schools for music education through the Community Grants program.
