Greenville County Schools sent more than 250 buses and drivers to Charleston CountyThe South Carolina School Boards Association is using a photo of Greenville County Schools Bus Drivers as part of a statewide campaign. The campaign recognizes the public school employees who stepped up to help during Hurricane Matthew.

The photo beautifully captures the moment Greenville County Schools bus drivers were asked to volunteer to extend their stay on the coast to help potential evacuees.

Greenville County Schools sent more than 250 buses and drivers to Charleston County.  Drivers transported National Guard Troops and evacuated nursing home patients.

We are proud of our drivers and pleased to have been able to help.
