Musical Instruments for Tanglewood MS Band
What a great night for Tanglewood Middle School Band! A full house comprised of members of Greenville Women Giving gave a roar when it was announced that The Music Club of Greenville received funding for a grant written to benefit Tanglewood Middle School. The largest grant awarded, $73,242, will be used to purchase new clarinets, trombones, tubas, flutes and saxophones, as well as repair existing instruments so that ALL students have the opportunity to play a working instrument. In addition, students will now be able to have their own music books and a music stand to put them on. With 180 music students and a vision to grow the program, Tanglewood Middle School would like to thank Greenville Women Giving for their gracious donation which empowers these dreams.
