Fisher Middle School Accepting Teaching Applications for 2016-17
Informational Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2016
Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School (PJFMS) is accepting resumes in all academic areas for the 2016-17 school year. PJFMS is a Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS, and Math (STEAM) Middle School in Greenville County Schools.
This state-of-the art middle school opened in August 2014 in the ICAR/Millennium Campus with an inaugural sixth grade class. A seventh grade class was added last year. For the 2016-17 school year, an eighth grade class will be added with openings in all content/subject areas.
A teacher informational meeting will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 4:30 –5:30 p.m. in the Fisher Middle School cafeteria.
If you are interested in joining a faculty with this innovative approach to teaching, please send a letter of interest, resume, and a copy of your SC teaching certificate to phinnizefisherjobs@greenville.k12.sc.us. Our district application system is being upgraded and will not be available until later in January. However, once the Fisher jobs are posted on the district website, candidates will also need to apply. The tentative deadline for applicants is Friday, January 29, but applications will be accepted until all positions have been filled.
