Skyland Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle and Blue Ridge High have improved, but compromised water pressure due to a water main break in the Cannon Road/Highway 14 vicinity. These locations are served by Blue Ridge Water.

District personnel are bringing in bottled water, bag lunches and hand sanitizer. Schools are continuing to operate on a normal schedule.

In addition to the three schools listed above, the following six Greenville County school buildings are under a boil water advisory until at least 6pm Tuesday:

These facilities have running water and the ability to use toilets. They are being provided with bottled water and hand sanitizer.

The voluntary advisory issued by Greenville County Schools for Greer High, Greer Middle, Chandler Creek Elementary, Crestview Elementary, Bonds Career Center and Dunbar Child Development Center has been lifted.  Those schools are no longer affected.

Greenville County Schools appreciates the assistance Walmart during this emergency. The Walmart Disaster Relief Fund is providing nearly 40,000 bottles of water.  The Walmart on Woodruff Road is donating all of the additional hand sanitizer that’s needed.
