Westcliffe Students Learn Bike Safety
Students at Westcliffe Elementary learned how to safely ride a bike thanks to a four week course offered by Safe Kids Upstate.
Safe Kids trained Scott Eron, the physical education teacher at Westcliffe, who then used the activities in P.E. class. About 100 students in 4th and 5th grades received the bike safety course.
The community organization brought the school a bike trailer filled with various sized bikes, bike helmets and traffic signs.
