Spirit Week Totals Top $700,000Monday night Wade Hampton High School unveiled its spirit week total during halftime of a postponed football game. Students raised more than $225,000 for Project Hope, Upstate nonprofit organization providing a lifespan of autism services. Principal Eric Williams said, “I could not be more proud of the way these kids led our student body this week.”

Friday night Eastside High announced it had raised $125,000 for “with purpose,” a charity for children with cancer.

If you combine those totals with the $206,000 raised by Greenville High and $151,000 from JL Mann High, Greenville County high school students have raised over $700,000 for charity in the month of September.
