Blueberry Festival Saturday July 11thRoper Mountain Science Center in Greenville will celebrate all things blueberry on July 11th from 9-1 as this annual event will promote blueberries, local farms, and businesses. The theme of blueberries will stretch across the Center from actual blueberries, plants, pies, breads, ice creams and treats, to all of the many uses of this favorite fruit. From contests to demonstrations, there will be fun for everyone at. The popular festival is sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Edible Upcountry.

Learn about the black bear and other animals that are BIG blueberry fans. Touch live animals and enjoy live bluegrass music. On the Living History Farm there will be historic crafts and trades such as blacksmithing, woodworking, weaving, sewing, farm animals, contests, arts and crafts for children and much more.

Admission is: $5 for senior citizens 60 and over; $5 for children 5-12; and $6 for ages 13-59. FREE for children 5 and under or for members of the RMSC Association. Parking is free. Roper Mountain Science Center is owned and operated by Greenville County Schools as an educational resource for teachers, students, and families, and is open to the public on the second Saturday of each month.
