Greenville County Schools teachers, administrators, students, and volunteers were widely recognized by SCPTA at the annual state convention in Columbia.

Awards were given in the following areas:

Principal of the Year

  • Scott Rhymer, Mauldin High - Outstanding High School Principal of the Year

Teacher of the Year

  • Carroll Wolfe, Blythe Elementary Academy - Outstanding Elementary Teacher of the Year
  • Alyssa Nichols, Beck Middle Academy - Outstanding Middle School Teacher of the Year
  • Susan Mayberry, Riverside High - Outstanding High School Teacher of the Year

Support Staff of the Year

  • Dylan Norris, Bell’s Crossing Elementary - Outstanding Elementary Support Staff of the Year
  • Kathy Donovan, Beck Middle Academy - Outstanding Middle School Support Staff of the Year
  • Betty Templeton, Riverside High - Outstanding High School Support Staff of the Year
