GCS to Operate on Regular Schedule on Wednesday, January 8
Greenville County Schools will operate on regular schedule on Wednesday, January 8. Temperature (including wind chill) is considered in making school closing/delay decisions. For tomorrow, weather forecasts call for temperatures at early morning bus pickup times to be slightly higher than this morning when students were picked up on the delayed schedule. Historically, schools have operated on regular schedule with a temperature in the teens. HVAC systems will run again tonight on Occupied Mode to ensure schools are warm on Wednesday morning and transportation staff will report early to check school buses.
